miracles. His strength and power is not limited by
anything. His love is greater than all things. Absolutely
nothing is too difficult for Jesus Christ. Nothing
intimidates him.
Our God is so amazing!! It is 100 percent apparent as you look and even hear about Ryan's story. He is the greater than one could ever imagine and doing the most incredible work of healing, love, strength, and faith through our family in Ryan. I am joyous through the storm, and today is a day to rejoice in Our Heavenly Father's name! The doctor's have officially declared that Ryan is out of his coma!!!!! As a family, and witnesses to Ryan's recovery, we have known that he is too conscious and aware to truly be in a coma. Although, hearing those words from the medical staff is music to our ears! Thank you Lord for the continuous confirmation that you have not finished working in Ryan. You will not finished until he is healed, and even better than he was before … I am sure of it.
Today is glorious, but honestly … the "day Ryan came out of his coma" was not like anything I have ever imagined. Throughout this process, during my prayers I could not wait for Ryan to "wake up". I had no idea how the recovery process would actually work. I pictured Ryan opening his eyes and BOOM, he's awake! Little did I forget, that God does work miracles, but in his own timing. Patience. Patience. Patience … that's what I must keep reminding myself. Ryan is awake, aware, and continuing to heal, and I can not be more thankful! The brain is so complex and even mysterious, much like our Lord. He made the brain, and He knows everything about the brain, and He is healing the brain.
While you stretch out your hand to heal, and signs and wonders are performed through the name of your holy servant Jesus. Acts 4:30
Ryan's AFO came in today, his new foot brace. This helps his left foot remain straight will walking and even laying in bed. Guess what??? The brace has the Rockets symbols on it!!! It looks awesome!! I'll post a picture tomorrow. The doctors stopped giving Ryan Heparin (The 4 shots a day for blood thinners). He is also not getting acid reflex medicine. Ryan is also receiving more daily doses of water to keep him hydrated.
