I want to begin with a special thank you to you: the reader, the prayer, the people of never-ending faith. I am confident that we are glorifying our Saviour by all of our continuous prayers. Also, you all keep mine and my family's faith strong as well. It is the incredible work of The Lord that just when one of us may be having a hard day, someone who is connected with Ryan's story and a warrior of our God, seems to come into our lives or say something so perfect that reminds us to stay strong every minute of everyday. The prayers, blog comments, texts, phone calls, emails, direct conversations, and even the silent prayers are heard by God and He sends them to us for strength at the perfect timing. A special thank you to everyone becuase it means more to us than we could ever express.
2 Samuel 2:6
"And now may the LORD show lovingkindness and truth to you; and I also will show this goodness to you, because you have done this thing.
Ryan's first night with his trachea being capped went well. It was a long night for Mom becuase I know she had anxiety and was nervous for his breathing. Ryan developed a frequent cough throughout the night; this in return has also caused secretion from the outer portions of the trachea. The doctors are contemplating whether or not to suction him through his trachea for a lung culture to check for infection or wait until the 72 hours has passed. They will watch the amount of secretions throughout the night and probably make a decision tomorrow morning.
Dear Heavely Father, we ask that you place your healing hands over Ryan and his trachea. We ask that the secretions cease and any infections that only you know of be cleansed in your Holy name. Thank you for the continuous blessings that you give us every single day. The joy of your love overpowers the times of trouble. Thank you for being so able. In Jesus's name we pray. Amen.
