Ryan had a very successful trip to Memorial Hermann today. The neurological urologist said Ryan is doing an amazing job and things are looking well.
So far, the beginning trial of Ryan's capped trachea is doing awesome! Please keep him in your prayers tonight, for this is the first night he will be capped and required to breath on his own throughout the night.
Ryan is beginning to move his right arm a little more each week!!! Today he slowly moved his RIGHT arm to "push" the respiratory technician away today!!!! Hard-headed as always, but the movement makes us smile and praise God for the progress.
We have to keep the large restraint mitten on Ryan's left hand because he is becoming very agitated and almost angry. When we do take the mitten off, he frequently latches for his trachea, which is very scary. Our prayers are for Ryan to remain at peace for the remaining time that his trachea is in. Lord we ask that you place your patience and healing hands over our sweet Ryan. We ask that you give Ryan the knowledge to understand Your work and Your timing for this a amazing healing that we are encountering.
Romans 8:25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.
