We rejoice in our heavenly Father's name!!!! God is soooo good, all the time, God is good.
Ryan's surgery ran about an hour late, so he become agitated a bit, which is understandable. It was nearly 1 o'clock and he couldn't have anything to eat or drink ... I would have been a mad-woman!! Once Ryan finally was emitted into surgery it only took about 45 minutes before we saw the surgeon walking down the hallway. This meant one of two things: something really good or really bad. We were on pins and needles as we watched him walk that 50 meter stretch to the waiting room, but then we saw him smile. My heart became relieved. He delivered us news of a miracle. He quoted, "Ryan's throat looks like a normal throat." I almost couldn't believe it! Mom began her happy dance and the family rejoiced! The surgeon said the scar tissue is in existent and Ryan is ready to remove his trachea! Let me remind you, just a few months ago Ryan's scar tissue blocked more than 90% of his airway and often times that amount of scar tissue is irreversible...
Well, without God of course!
Ryan began the "capping" process yesterday to ensure that he can breath without issues on his own. He has had no problems, if this continues his trachea will be removed bedside on Monday!!! Praise The Lord for this amazing blessing and steps to recovery. There is no medical explanation for his healing. We give all the thanks and glory to our Lord!
More good news, Ryan is schedule to go home on Wednesday. We have not told him yet, just in case the date changes for any reason. Although, this time we are pretty sure it is definitive. I will have more information on his homecoming in a few days.
When you think of Ryan's healing and the constant miracles, remember to say a thank you for our Father. He is the ultimate healer. He has shown that anything is possible through faith and prayer in His name!
