Ryan's aggression has begun to increase the past few days. The fluctuation of medications could be another cause to his new aggression. They are slowly decreasing one of the anger medications because it causes tremors, and increasing a new medication that is supposed to help with tremors and aggression. This is a slow process; please continue to pray for Ryan's complete restoration as well at patience for both our family and Ryan.
We have not heard from the throat doctor in regards to moving up his trachea surgery a few weeks early, therefore Ryan should be discharged on June 14th. The week following his arrival will be his surgery. We were hoping that insurance would lengthen Ryan's stay due to his surgery, but as of right now this does not seem promising.
Help me to remember that every trial that comes my way has already been known to You in advance. I know that You are with me. I memorize Your Word. I know that I am to be “patient in affliction” (Romans 12:12 NIV). I am grateful for all You have provided me and I need to always remember that You are in control. Lord, I am learning more every day to be content with life in the moment because You are showing me Your grace and mercy daily. I will persevere through these trials, Lord, because You are with me! Thank you for being patient with me as I am learning to be patient through my own afflictions. I love you, Father! Amen
