Ryan is still having difficulty with his speech. Therapist are working to approve him for a more advanced speaking board (like an iPad), but I know that Ryan will speak again. We have heard him use his voice after the accident, so I know that he can strengthen his voice muscles. Ryan's testimony will be given through his own mouth and words.
Ryan's physical therapy is progressing. It is a bit slower than we expected, but we can definitely see improvements, and for that, we are very grateful. He is now able to feed himself using his left hand and a spoon or fork! His walking is also progressing as well. Ryan is still very tired due to different medicines. His aggravation and aggression has substantially lessened. I feel that is currently are biggest blessing. We are able to visit with him without fear of getting hit. Since Ryan is able control his anger, we are allowed to take him for the day to different events or holidays! This past weekend, Ryan was able to celebrate his grandfather's 77th birthday in Friendswood with the family! He had such a good time, enjoying the change of scenery as well as the beautiful weather God gave us last weekend!
Thank you for the continued prayers of complete healing and restoration of Ryan. Nothing is too big for our God, he has proven this to us day after day.
